LOC has provided engineering services for multiple office, banquet, restaurant, bar, event and specialized tenant spaces as part of the revitalization of the historic Charleston Cigar Factory.

From office renovations accommodating reception/office/meeting spaces (HVAC, piping/plumbing, lighting, and electrical distribution); to extensive renovations required for a Restaurant │ Bar │ Bakery │ Café with three separate kitchens servicing two distinct dining areas; to large occupancy open banquet rooms – LOC has provided professional engineering service for each to each of these unique clients. The Restaurant │ Bar │ Bakery │ Café required over 40 tons of HVAC combining several mechanical systems to provide make-up air to account for 3 hoods exhausting from the space; lighting controls, electrical distribution, electrical service; fire alarm and fire protection. The large/open banquet facility included a warming kitchen, staging areas, bride’s room, as well as the banquet room itself with its high occupancy mechanical and electrical loads.
