Boeing Final Assembly Building

The purpose of the Extended Positions 1A/1B project was to provide the capability to increase production capacity within the Final Assembly Building 88-030. LOC provided professional engineering and design services for modifications of the existing building. Services included major modifications to foundations, tunnels, utilities, communication systems, support areas, and tooling equipment.

LOC provided professional engineering services to manage and design structural, mechanical, piping, and electrical elements of the project that support configuration changes in the Final Assembly Building 88-030. The project was designed to increase production capacity by facilitating the addition of Positions 1A and 1B. The construction of this project was executed aggressively without significant impact to production operations.
